Why This Study and Why Now?
The Canadian Jewish community is at a pivotal crossroads. Rising antisemitism, threats to Jewish identity, and shifting cultural and political landscapes demand that we respond with clarity and effectiveness.
In the spirit of Rosh Hashana and just ahead of Yom Kippur it is prudent to pause, reflect, and ask: What is truly working, and what is not? and how can we improve ourselves in the year ahead? This Community Impact Study is a first step toward answering that question with honesty, data and the collective voice of Canadian Jews.
By understanding how Jews across Canada perceive the threats we face, experience Jewish life, and evaluate our advocacy and leadership, we can better align our resources with impact — ensuring that our response in the year ahead is not just well-funded, but effective, measurable and accountable.
This is about taking an informed approach towards building smarter, stronger and more resilient solutions together.
The survey consists of 25 questions and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
This is your opportunity to share your perspective — no need for perfect answers.
If you can’t answer, simply choose “No answer.”
All responses will be anonymized before the report is released, ensuring privacy and integrity.
The Community Impact Study is Open for participation till October 10th.
Upon completion of the survey, your input will help create a national snapshot of community sentiment, needs and priorities that will be delivered through the 2025 Community Impact Report and will empower better informed decision making relating to resource allocation and improved impact for the year ahead.
Thank you for being part of this important first step towards a stronger, better prepared and more resilient Canadian Jewish community.
L’Shana Tova!
